Solo Elite was formed in 1998 by its founder "Disciple" primarily as an F-22 Lightning 3 Squadron. The goal was to recruit top pilots and make them even better! The initial team was assembled and the legend of the greatest squadron in F22 Lightning 3 continues. During Solo Elite's time in F22 Lightning 3, we dominated the skies of Novaworld, seven years later our legacy continues. Over the years we have won wars and tournaments with untouchable statistics and have a war record that is currently unmatched by any other squadron to date. As time went by we grew in numbers and recruited some excellent pilots each with their own individual and valuable input to the team. Seven years later, F22 Lightning 3 still has a very strong online community. Unfortunately, this classic gaming title can longer compete with modern day Combat Flight Simulators. Solo Elite needed to move onto something greater. Enter Lock On: Modern Air Combat, and Battlefield 2! We are ONE squad flying ONE banner in a variety of games.

From Flight Simulators to First Person Shooters, Solo Elite is now actively an established clan in F22 Lignting 3, Lock On - Modern Air Combat and Battlefield 2. Our aim is to become as strong in FPS as we are in our flight sims. You can find out more information about these gaming titles from our main website.The current objective of Solo Elite is to become a financial community and aim for sponsorship from major manufacturers in gaming namely ATI or Nvidia. Measures are already being taken to evolve Solo Elite into a totally financial-free state, however this will take time. So what does the future hold for Solo Elite? As a team we aim to continue with online gaming and eventually have a wing in several online games. For now, our main focus is on Battlefield 2, Lock On and F22-L3. Team History (Phase Two)

Solo Elite is now heading down the path of both Lock On: Flaming Cliffs and Battlefield 2. We have successfully established a solid Battlefield 2 community under the Solo Elite tags. Still gaining experience in the game and having regular scrimmages to improve on our teamwork and tactics we strive for superiority. We will entering into the TWL 8vs8 league to hopefully make Solo Elite more known and gain more interest for the team. In Lomac we have established a strong friendship with Naturalpoint and we are looking to host a 2vs2 Gunzo Tournament scheduled to start late July. Naturalpoint have sponsored Solo Elite with TWO TrackIR 4 pros for first prizes. Solo Elite will also be giving away a unique professionally made Plaque for the "Top Gun" of the tournament. Currently we are affiliated with eDimensional, rcSimulations, Belkin and partnered with Naturalpoint. This is a huge Step for Solo Elite as we look to gain more interest from the big names of the gaming world.

Team History (Phase Three)

Solo Elite is now well known thru-out the Battlefield 2 community. We can saftley say we have left the legacy of the F22 Lightning 3 wing behind and strictly focused on Battlefield! Lock-On is going slow but we are still supporting a wing in the game genre. In Battlefield we have had multiple wars against multiple clans. The experience we have learnt from this is priceless. Every member in our BF2 wing is dedicated and skill level overall has risen 10-fold. We still aim for tournament matches but we still have 3 months hard training to undetake before we go competative. The structure of Solo Elite remains similar and the foundations of Solo Elite remain secure. We have been around for over 8 years, we're here to stay!
