Karkand
- Conquest
|
|
---
Our first war in Battlefield 2! -=ToD=- Veterans of BF2 gave us a great fight! The map was Karkand, on defence we lost Gatehouse earlie which forced our team to split up. They were quick and precise and gradually worked there way back to Hotel to claim the round. We felt we did ok, but once gatehouse was taken the were was already lost. On attack we struggled to break through, and after time found our armour in there hands. They used it well, and defended like pros. We did manage to break there line and get gatehouse but it was a little to late. That round ended 12-0 in favor of -=ToD=- --- |

| Tour of Duty -=ToD=- | 409-0 (Loss/Tickets) | Wake Island - Conquest |
|
---
A week later and were back up against -=ToD=-. We did plan on haveing atleast one months practice before going against these guys again but agreed to a rematch. On the day only 10 SE turned up, we did have another two (our best pilots) but they had trouble entering the server! We agreed to play on, what a mistake that was! The Map was wake Island. We struggled to get of the carrier as there planes and Art were holding us down. Finally when we managed to break through we captured South and Beach flags. We held them for a long while but it was to late the damage was done. The second round they took the airfiled in what seemed like seconds and instantly gained Air Superiority again. We struggled to defend, being 6 men down left us very weak. We eventually lost our last flag. Good game ToD! --- |

| 420th Infantry | 395-72 (Win/Tickets) | Masture/Wake - Conquest |
|
---
Solo Elite just had there first victory in BF2! Our 3rd war and we took it by storm. Our opponenets: 420th Inf. The Maps: Masture and Wake. Solo Elites first time in Masture and Second in Wake. We held Masture well, we were organized and we killed quick, with great movment from Sparrows squad and Tin-of-Beanz squad we had the whole map covered. Everyone new there job role. We stormed through Masture takeing both rounds. In Wake island not much changed accept. We took the airstrip in under 60 seconds and held off well, this won us the war. Then defending we managed to hold all bases losing a couple of bases but quickly we gained them back. There tickets dropped fast and we managed to take the round 160-22. Congratulations to ALL who played in =S*E= EVERYONE played well and as a team. Well Done! ---- |

| Tour of Duty -=ToD=- | No Record (Loss/Tickets) | Shardqi Pen |
|
---
At the request of TOD we accepted a war with them in Sharqi Pen! This is a familier map from a "pub game" point of view for Solo Elite. Not knowing an awefull lot about tactics on this map we new that the TV station was the base to attack and defend! When we attacked we aimd for there TV station trying to do an insertion! Despite many efforts we couldnt seem to break there defences and opted trying something new. This was an inexperienced decision and cost us the game. While attacking the TV station we kept tickets level and defended captured bases well. Defending is where it seemed to fall apart again. Currently despite making defending our highest priority in a training session we were still unable to match TOD. The second round ended quick and handed TOD the win. ---- |

| Tour of Duty -=ToD=- | No Record (Loss/Tickets) | Operation Cleansweep |
|
---
Operation cleansweep is the map we play the least and trust us to get challenged there! Despite the outcome we still took the result with a pinch of salt and carried on with the learning curve we seem to be forever enduring! A tacticle move by TOD ment we were defending first round. We struggled to cover a large map and it seemed there was nothing we could do to stop them from taking flags. They took the first round by storm despite us trying to put up a good fight. The second round was close and the game ended up running the clock but still left Solo Elite on the back foot with less tickets. We attacked well and killed quick but it seems we currently cannot get into a rythem as a team with new members joining, and always having to shuffle the clan. This is not a problem as we will ALL grow together as a team and hopefully start to become one as a unit. Very good war, we enjoyed it - we learnt a lot! ---- |

| Zimmer Honour Guard *ZhG* | 3-1 (Win/Rounds) | Jalalabad / Karkand - Conquest |
|
---
After months on playing in pub games and many practice sessions we thought its time we test our teamwork abilities. Up against ZhG whos been in FPS for over 8 years and has over 200 members 50 of which are in Battlefield 2. We played jalalbad first and as always our "first round glitch" hit us again with ZhG taking 3 flags very quickly, we managed to regroup and defend well and at some point we did push them back towards outpost & lake. We lost the round due to not preparing enough for the assualt. The next round we were on the offensive and they showed us how to defend putting mines on city entrances, claymors on flags but we did eventually brake thru and took there main flag controlling there armor - we won the second round. Karkand was next and we did what we do best and that was defend and attack well. They found it hard to brake our line and tickets fell roughly even although we were in controll of the war most of the time. We took both rounds at karkand. Despite loosing on tickets overall we won 3/4 rounds. Good practice war ZhG! Well done Solo Elite! ---- |

| Total Knockout Boys *TBH* | 2-0 (Win/Rounds) | Daqing Oilfields / Karkand |
|
---
We were in a game on a pub server (TKB'S) when they booted a Solo Elite player for cheating! It was a big miss-understanding and they did say sorry, to which replied with a challenge in a war! They chose Daqing Oilfields to pur suprise as they "thought" they would be able to hand us our own asses. It was 5vs5 on a 64 player map so loads of ground to be covered. We planned out our attack before the game and we were underway. We new these guys were good in the air and that there home was Daqing and this showed as the hammered our tickets to go 100 ahead! After a tactics rethink, we countered and in just as much time we hammered there tickets and they fell below ours. We won the round but 20 tickets after some awesome teamwork by Solo Elite - they wernt happy! The next round was in our home in Karkand. We totally tore them apart as US taking all the flags. We were about to kill the last few players left allive before they closed the server down! Another Solo Elite Win! ---- |

| Tour of Duty -=ToD=- | 109-25 (Loss/Tickets) | Wake Island |
|
---
Back against our old friends TOD! We new we had matured as a team and were eager to see how much we have improved. It was 10vs10 and we defended the first round. We managed to hold off ALL there attacks with fantastic ground movement and with help from our boys in the sky who had air superiorty. We took the first round fairly easy although they did keep us awake. This is the first round we have taken from TOD! Extatic with our previous rounds result we headed off the aircraft carrier fairly still suprised - even though we took Airfield within the first 60 seconds of gameplay we lost it shortly after. We did waste time and got killed alot trying to take other flags before finally controlling North Base. Our boys in the Air did an awesome job but we faild to defend our bases aswell as we would have liked. Although near the end of the round we did take all there flags but one and they managed to get a second under there controll. WE kept airfield once we got it but they proved hard to beat. I was happy with the result and it just shows we are stepping up to the elite teams! Good game TOD! ---- |

| Tour of Duty -=ToD=- | 206-49 (Loss/Tickets) | Daqing Oilfields |
|

After a month or so solid practice we accepted TODs war offer. We chose Daqing oldfields! The first round couldnt have gone worse - we weret prepared and were caught napping. Our tickets bled quickly and we found ourself loosing the round before the round ended. Even though TOD played well - the first round lose was due to SE falling asleep in the first round and not settling in at all, rather then being outclassed. The 2nd round was much different! Solo Elite came out guns blazing, yet we still new we couldnt win the war we felt we needed the 2md round to hold our heads high. We adapted well to there tactics, we were trailing the first part of the round but maintained a tight ticket gap. We had shuffled players around, and it worked divedends! TOD didnt know what hit them - despite them trying there best to defend and attack we were more then equal to them. The 2nd round was under our controll and we controlled the tempo of the game - TOD couldnt find an answer. We held of for 30mins finally winning the round on tickets. Excellent war TOD. ---- |
